THE CHALLENGE
Kori Krill Oil had established itself as a strong contender in the krill oil market but was not yet a household name like some larger supplement brands. Kori wanted to change that by capitalizing on the drop of the Matrix Resurrections trailer and target the fans of the franchise on Twitter with communications that showed them Kori’s red pill.
THE CAMPAIGN
We came up with a simple idea to highlight Kori as the “real red pill”, and nodded to one of the most iconic scenes
from the Matrix where Morpheus offers Neo a choice between two pills.
Our campaign hero video was designed like a trailer and we recreated the Matrix code with Kori brand elements. We also created a movie poster depicting the choice between the real red pill Kori Krill Oil and the inferior yellow fish oil pill.
The ad ran as a pre-roll on the Matrix Resurrections trailer.
